State Municipal League: Alaska Municipal League
The Alaska Municipal League (AML) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, statewide membership organization of 165 cities, boroughs, and unified municipalities, representing over 97 percent of Alaska’s residents.

Risk Pool: Alaska Public Risk Alliance
The Alaska Public Risk Alliance (APRA) empowers member communities by pooling resources and expertise to meet their unique risk management and coverage needs, ensuring long-term sustainability and value.

Arizona

State Municipal League: League of Arizona Cities and Towns
The League of Arizona Cities and Towns is to promote local self-government, municipal independence and provide professional and high quality assistance to the municipal governments in the State of Arizona.

Risk Pool: Arizona Municipal Risk Retention Pool
Arizona Municipal Risk Retention Pool (AMRRP) is a Municipally-Governed Risk Pool Dedicated Solely to Coverage and Risk Management Solutions for Arizona Cities and Towns.

California

State Municipal League: League of California Cities
The League of California Cities has been shaping the Golden State’s political landscape since the association was founded in 1898. We defend and expand local control through advocacy efforts in the Legislature, at the ballot box, in the courts, and through strategic outreach that informs and educates the public, policymakers, and opinion leaders.

Colorado

State Municipal League: Colorado Municipal League
The Colorado Municipal League is an influential advocate of municipal interests at the state and federal levels. CML is also a reliable source of training and information for municipal staff and elected officials across Colorado.

Risk Pool: Colorado Intergovernmental Risk Sharing Agency (CIRSA)
The Colorado Intergovernmental Risk Sharing Agency (CIRSA) was formed by Colorado municipalities, for Colorado municipalities. More than 293 communities and public entities are members, because the advantages of working collectively as a community far outweigh what commercial insurance providers offer.

Idaho

State Municipal League: Association of Idaho Cities
The Association of Idaho Cities was formed in 1947 and is a nonpartisan, nonprofit corporation that serves Idaho’s 198 cities. AIC advocates on behalf of cities, and provides education, training and assistance to strengthen the ability of city elected officials and staff to serve their communities.

Montana

State Municipal League: Montana League of Cities and Towns
Since 1931, the Montana League of Cities and Towns (League) has provided technical support, research, and advocacy for municipalities at the state and federal levels. Along with its strategic partners, the League is the clearinghouse through which Montana’s communities work cooperatively to build and maintain a vibrant, healthy, and safe Montana.

Risk Pool: Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority
Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority has been supporting local governments since 1986. MMIA pools funds from member-owners to offer liability, property, workers’ compensation, and employee benefits coverages, as well as technical assistance and risk management services.

Nevada

State Municipal League: Nevada League of Cities and Municipalities (NLC&M) was founded in 1959 to advocate for the interests of local governments throughout Nevada. The League represents cities, towns, and general improvement districts across the state, providing a unified voice for municipalities at the state and federal levels.

New Mexico

State Municipal League: New Mexico Municipal League
The New Mexico Municipal League protects and promotes municipal interests with a unified voice through advocacy, education, and comprehensive risk management.

Risk Pool: New Mexico Self-Insurers’ Fund
The New Mexico Self Insurers’ Fund offers Workers’ Compensation, general liability, law enforcement, civil rights, errors and omissions, auto liability, auto physical damage, property and volunteer coverage to its members.

Oregon

State Municipal League: League of Oregon Cities

Risk Pool: CityCounty Insurance Services
CIS provides comprehensive property/liability and workers‘ compensation (CIS P/C Trust) and employee benefits coverage (EBS and AOCIT) tailored to the needs of their members. These programs are supported by expert claims management and legal defense, training, and personalized risk management services.

Utah

State Municipal League: Utah League of Cities and Towns
ULCT serves 255 cities and towns in the State of Utah. ULCT represents municipal government interests with a strong, unified voice at the state and federal levels.

Risk Pool: Utah Local Governments Trust
The Trust provides specialized policies and programs, tailored to protect municipalities – allowing members to operate with confidence and security.

Washington

State Municipal League: Association of Washington Cities
AWC is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation that represents Washington’s cities and towns before the state legislature, the state executive branch and with regulatory agencies. A wide array of programs and services are offered to our members.
