Overview

NLC-RISC has partnered with Paradigm to provide specialty care management for catastrophic workplace injuries. For over 35 years, Paradigm has helped injured workers achieve optimal recoveries through a human-centered, outcomes-driven approach that integrates medical and behavioral health expertise. Their services support complex injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, severe burns, and multiple-trauma cases. Paradigm also offers Outcome Plan contracts that guarantee specific clinical outcomes for a fixed cost until the outcome is achieved.

How It Works

When a case is referred, Paradigm assigns a clinical team and works with providers, the injured worker, and family members to develop a coordinated care plan focused on achieving the highest possible recovery.

What RISC Members Should Know

There is no cost for an initial assessment, no contract is required to make a referral, and members can decide whether to move forward after reviewing the proposed Outcome Plan. As part of the NLC-RISC partnership, the standard assessment fee is waived.
