Event Description:
The NLC-RISC Staff Conference offers programming designed for risk pool staff to learn about relevant trends, programs, services, and best practices in a variety of coverage lines and functional areas. Conference sessions are tailored to the many professional interests of our members. This event also creates opportunities for risk pool staff from across the country to network in a non-competitive environment.

PheedLoop, the official conference website for the Staff Conference, is now available and serves as the central hub for conference information. Attendees can browse the full agenda, including session and speaker details, to start planning their conference experience.
The platform also includes a curated Things to Do guide with 40+ local recommendations, from activities and museums to dining, coffee, and drinks, along with a custom Google Map for easy, on-the-go navigation.
We also encourage attendees to review the FAQ page, which includes helpful information about conference logistics, schedules, new programming, and more.
The 2026 NLC‑RISC Staff Conference will take place October 25–28 at the Omni Hotel in Oklahoma City, OK. The event kicks off with a welcome reception on Sunday evening, followed by sessions beginning Monday morning. There is the option to purchase discounted basketball tickets for Monday evening, a closing reception on Tuesday evening, and the conference will conclude Wednesday afternoon.
Registration Fees:
- Full Registration: $850
- Guest All-Event Pass: $400
- Guest Closing Reception Only Pass: $150

- October 6 – October 24: 50% Refund
- No show: Forfeiture of registration fee

OKC Thunder Basketball Game
Join us Monday, October 27, at 7:00 p.m. as the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Phoenix Suns. We have reserved a block of seats for conference attendees, and the arena is conveniently located across the street from the Omni Hotel.
Tickets are $30. Please review the document below for instructions on adding a ticket to an existing registration or including one during a new registration.

Connect with peers who share similar responsibilities and professional interests during dedicated functional area discussions. These sessions provide opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss common challenges, and share best practices with risk pool professionals from across the country.
